Meet the Teacher

Hi, I am Mrs. Carey and I am so excited to be teaching art at Rock Bridge Elementary.

Here are 5 facts about me:

1. This is my 6th year teaching. I have been a traveling art teacher Columbia Public Schools at Midway Elementary, Paxton Keeley Elementary, Mill Creek Elementary, and EEE. This will be my first time in one building full time.

2. I graduated from Mizzou in 2011 with a degree in Art Education (K-12). I then completed my Masters in Elementary Administration at William Woods Elementary in 2014.

3. I live with my husband, Josh and our two Australian Shepherd dogs, Paisley and Hazel.

4. I published an adult coloring book this summer. Inkspirations Animal Kingdom. It is available at Barnes & Noble, Walmart.com, and Amazon

5. In my free time I enjoy running, making art, spending time with my family, and traveling.
