International Dot Day

After 23 classes, listening to Emily Arrow's The Dot song countless times, and learning about the styles of 6 famous artists, we are finally ready for Dot Day!!!!

Dot Day is based on The Dot book by Peter H. Reynolds, which challenges us to "make a mark and see where it you." It is now an international holiday that celebrates creativity, courage, and collaboration. Creativity can be seen in the students' artwork, courage can be seen in trying something new, and collaboration can be viewed in a school wide art display by RBE students and celebrating a special holiday with people all over the world.

Each grade was assigned a famous artists to base their dot on. These artists have made their mark on the art world.
